OBITUARY
MOTHER MARY RAPHAEL DOYLE.
The death occurred this morning at tile Convent. Carterton. of Mother Mary Raphael Doyle of the Brigidine Order of Nuns. Mother Raphael was one of the foundation members of the order in New Zealand, having arrived in Masterton with the first band of nuns. She taught in the local school for many years and later went to Pahiatua, Foxton. and Johnsonville where she was leaching up till a few weeks ago when ill health caused her to relinquish her duties. The kite Mother Raphael had many friends and expupils in Masterton, who will learn with deep regret of her death.
