Mrs Leadley. who is commencing elocutionary classes in Masterton, was the winner of the open championship for most points at the Greymouth competitions in 1936, and at- the Timaru compettiions in 1937. Won the cup for open Shakespearean recitation, the only open class in the competitions. She was also the winner of the most points at Oainaru in 1938. Her pupils have been very successful at the Ashburton competitions for a number of Miss Joan Tandy. M.R.A.D., hit. (by examination), who is a well-known and experienced teacher in all classes of fancy dancing, will open a studio in St. Patrick's Hall, Queen Street, Masterton, on Monday, February 12. She will interview parents on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
