RESPONSE IN WAIRARAPA.

LATEST LIST OF ENROLMENTS.

The splendid response in the Wairarapa recruiting area to the appeal for men for service overseas and for home defence has resulted in the enlistment of over 500 men, the total now being 501. The following is the latest list of enlistments at the Masterton .Defence Office: —Railway Construction Company. L. M. Edwards (The Summit), N. R. McClelland (Mauriceville); Forestry Service, R. L. Henson and V. W. Henson (Martinborough); Maori Battalion, R. S. T. Rahua iMasterton): Expeditionary Force, G. T. Whiting (Masterton). T. S. Taylor (Tinui)', I. M. Gordon (Fernyhurst). Messrs McClelland and Edwards will leave on February 14 for Burnham Camp, while Messrs Henson and Henson will leave on February 17 for Papakura.
