OBITUARY
MR THOMAS BURTON STILBORN. The many friends of Mr Thomas Burton Stilborn will regret to hear of his death, which occurred this morning at a private hospital in Wellington at the age of G 6 years. The late Mr Stilborn, who was the third son of the late Mr and. Mrs T. Stilborn, of Burtonfields. Tinui, was well known in the Wairarapa and East Coast districts. He was held in high esteem for his many fine personal qualities. Born at Tinui, he spent about half his life in that district and subsequently went to Australia, where he remained for a number of years. About 14 years ago he took up his residence at Wanganui, where he had resided evei' since. In his younger days he took a keen interest in football and played for the Tinui Club. During the past twelve months he had not enjoyed the best of health. The late Mr Stilborn is survived by his wife (nee Miss Clara Nielson, of Carterton), besides three brothers, Messrs H. (Hastings), D. (Burtonfields) and C. Stilborn (Masterton), and two sisters, Misses E. and M. Stilborn (Masterton). Two sisters. Mesdames J. and R. Langdon and one brother. Mr J. B. Stilborn, predeceased him. The sympathy of a wide circle of friends will .be extended to the relatives in their bereavement.
The funeral will take place on Friday, leaving the Church of England. Carterton, at the conclusion of a service commencing at 1.30 p.m.. for the Clareville Cemetery.
