« OFFERING ON JANUARY 17. The twenty-second annual sale of the Wairarapa Stud Sheepbreeders' Association will be held at the Solway Showgrounds on January 17, commencing at 11 a.m. This sale is recognised as one of the best in New Zealand, as the pick of studs in the Wairarapa, Marlborough, Manawatu and Hawke's Bay districts is offered. Altogether 61 Southdowns and 126 Romney shearling rams will be auctioned. At the conclusion of the sale the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co.. Ltd., will offer, on behalf of Sir William Perry, 41) 2-shear Romney rams.
