enjoyable cricket match. ST. MATTHEW’S TEAM BEATEN. An enjoyable cricket match between members of the New Zealand Anglican Boys’ Bible Class Union camp and past and present members of the St. Matthew's Bible Class was held on the Wairarapa College grounds yesterday. The camp team batted first and hit up 151 for 8 wickets. The top scorers were T. Scott (St. Peter’s, Christchurch) 75 not out (including a six and 12 fours); A. Warren (Kilbirnie) 25 (5 fours); and Gray (Petone) 15. Bowling for Masterton Parsonson took ..3 for 30, Taylor 3 for 31, Upston 1 for 28, and Welch 1 for 19. Masterton compiled 58. the chief scorers being Wilson (17) and Nicol (10). In bowling T. Scott took 5 wickets for 8, and H. Scott (Auckland) 2 for 9. An address was given later in the evening by the Rev. H. V. C. Reynolds on the work of the Melanesian Mission. Mr Reynolds, who is on furlough after four years work in Melanesia, gave an extremely interesting talk. The playing of indoor games occupied the rest of the evening.
