PERSONAL ITEMS (“Times-Age” Special.) Mr and Miss Jones, Miss M. Clapshaw and Mr. K. Clapshaw are me guests of Mrs. Clapshaw for the holidays. Mr. R. Benton, of Wigram Aerodrome staff, arrived yesterday on his final leave. Mr. J. Lundon, who is on final leave, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Nix, Featherston. Miss Brough, who has been visiting Mrs. Nix, left yesterday for Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Robbins and family left today by car for Te Kuiti on a visit to Mrs Robbins, Senr. Seaman Raper, R. N., who has been on leave, has returned to Auckland. Business Brisk. The streets were busy with shoppers last night, the decorated shops and strings of coloured lights giving a very festive appearance to the town. Shopkeepers report brisk business.
