WAR ORDERS
HEAVY OUTLAY IN CANADA. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.15 a.m.) RUGBY, December 21. According to an official announcement from Ottawa, between September 1 and November 21, the Canadian Government placed orders for war material totalling nearly £12.000.000. 01 these orders. aircraft accounted for three millions, while the other principal items included clothing and equipment, £1,600,000; fuel, £500,000; and construction projects, two millions. In addition, during the same period orders were placed for railway equipment to the value of five millions.
