OPAKI
ENJOYABLE DANCE (“Times-Age” Special.) Another very enjoyable dance was held last night at Cooper’s Barn, Opaki, when many visitors from outside districts attended. Monte Carlo competition winners were:— Mr and Mrs Spackman and Mr Joe Clarke and Miss Norah O’Meara. The music was supplied by A. Barnes’s Orchestra. Several extras were played, one given by Private Willison on the piano-accordion being much appreciated. A committee was responsible for the supper arrangements. Mr Pat Ward ably carried out the duties of M.C. It has been decided to hold the final dance of the season on Monday, January 1.
