PRE-WEDDING PARTIES

MISS KILMISTER ENTERTAINED. Miss Phyllis Kilmister, whose marriage will take place shortly, has been the guest at several pre-wedding parties within the last few days. Mrs E. Kilmister entertained a number of friends at her home, Olive Street, recently. Games, musical items and dancing provided a most enjoyable evening. The bride-to-be was the recipient of many useful gifts. Mrs I. J. Ingley was the hostess at a gift evening tendered to Miss Kilmister, at the residence of Mrs Ingley, Opaki Road, when the Old Girls of St. Bride's Convent and friends gathered to wish her every success and happiness in the future. Competitions and musical items were greatly enjoyed. Miss Kilmister acknowledged with thanks the many useful gifts which she received.
