SCHOOL ASSOCIATION FINAL PARTY OF SEASON. i (“Times-Age" Special.) At the final euchre party and dance for the season, conducted by the South Featherston Home and School Association the following were the prizewinners: Euchre, men, Mr Thurston 1, Mr L. G. Rasmussen 2. Ladies, Mrs Kinsey 1, Mrs L. G. Rasmussen 2. Monte carlo dances. Mr D. Burt and Miss J. Burt, and Mrs Wendon and Mrs Chisholm. Personal Items. Mr Jack Cunlifl’e has taken over the heard testing officer’s position for the Featherston group, succeeding Mr J. Spooner. Farmers who have so far had the services of the new officer speak very highly of his qualifications. Mrs A. Hall, of Berhampore, Wellington. who has been recuperating at the home of her aunt. Mrs R. Jepsen. South Featherston, has returned to Wellington. Mrs J. Bain, who is in the Masterton hospital, is showing a gradual improvement in health. Mr Joe Bain was very lucky to escape serious injury last Saturday when cranking a car. The car was in gear and started off, crushing his leg against - a van which was standing in front. He sustained cuts to his leg.
