ACCORDING TO LATEST REPORTS NEW FINNISH GOVERNMENT FORMED. ACCEPTANCE OF AMERICAN GOOD OFFICES. (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, December 1. The Finnish Foreign Office announced that M. Ryti, Governor of the Bank of Finland, is the new Premier and will take advantage of President Roosevelt’s good offices. He has asked Sweden to handle Finland's interests in Moscow, where semi-official circles refused to comment on the new Government. They slate that they have no knowledge of any truce. SURRENDER DENIED RUSSIAN ADVANCE STOPPED. ACCORDING TO LEGATION IN LONDON. (Received This Day. 9.50 a.m.) RUGBY. December 1. Although information regarding developments of the Russo-Finnish situation is scanty, it would appeal- that the Finnish Government has been reformed on a wider basis under M. Ryti. Governor of the Bank of Finland. The Finnish Legation in London stated that there is no question of Finnish surrender and that the Russian advance has been stopped and there has been no landing from warships. SOVIET STORY RED ARMY “FORCED TO MARCH." “BECAUSE OF TREACHEROUS ATTACKS." (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) MOSCOW, December 1. The radio announced that the Red Army had been forced to march. Because of treacherous attacks by Finnish troops, the Soviet commander had no alternative but to order the fullest destruction of the enemy.
