PAHIATUA SALE. PRICES DISAPPOINTING. The Associated Auctioneers report on the Pahiatua sale as follows: —A large entry of sheep came forward comprising an offering of shorn mixed aged ewes with w.f. mixed sex, woolly lambs at foot, also a fair entry of twotooth wethers, woolly wether hoggets, and fat ewes were yarded. The prices realised were not as should be expected aftei’ the good rains recently experienced. Quotations: Sheep. Ewes (shorn), with m.s. lambs at foot, all counted, 4th ewes, 18s 6d; 6th ewes, 11s 9d; 4 and 5 year ewes 9s 6d; two-tooth ewes (shorn). 225. 21s, to 18s 9d; fat ewes. 15s 4d, 13s 3d, 12s sd, fwd twotooth wethers, 16s 2d; 15s 9d, to 15s 7d; medium sorts 14s 9d, to 14s 2d, fat wethers 235, 21s to 20s 8d; woolly wether hoggets, 20s: b.f. woolly hoggets, 20s. Cattle:—Fat heifers, £6, £5 15s, fwd. cows ex dairy, £4 14s, £4, £3 14s. to £3: store cows, £3, to £2 15s, Jersey heifers, r.w.b. £4 10s. Pigs: Weaners (good), 245, 23s to 20s 6d; medium, 16s, 14s 6d, small, 12s 9d, to Ils 6d.
