BUSINESS ON DOMINION i EXCHANGES. DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES. The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchange yesterday:— Sale

GOLD MINING RETURNS. The New River dredge return is 19 ounces of gold for three weeks’ dredging of old workings and tailings. Nemona Gold Dredging Co., Ltd., reports that the dredge has struck a very high bar of re'fcf. and it has been necessary to raise the water level in the pond to dredge over it. It is expected that dredging will be resumed early next week. Alexander Mines, Ltd., has issued the following report for the week ended November 23: —No. 6 level: Stoping above the last rise the ore has proved very broken and disjointed, average width three feet. Driving north from the top of this rise'will now commence. The south stope above this level has been worked on ore averaging three feet, showing free gold. Stoping: Operations have been carried out on the same faces as previous report, quartz maintaining the same width. During the week 80 tons was sent to the battery. The Okarito dredge reports a return of 20oz for 129 hours' work.
