ANGLICAN CHURCH LADIES GUILD SALE. ("Times-Age” Special.) The novelty sale held by the ladies' guild of the Anglican Church was a decided success. The numerous stalls were well patronised, and altogether the sum of £35 was taken. The competitions were won as follow:—Cushion, Mrs O. Walton, tea cloth, Mr Frank Green; cake, Mrs Twentyman. CRICKET MATCHES PAHIATUA TEAMS WIN. The Bush Cricket Association’s senior competitions were continued on Saturday. Pahiatua Fire Brigade beat Pahiatua High School by 16 runs. Pahiatua defeated Mangamaire on the first innings. Eketahuna had a bye.
