PIG MARKETING

PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION. By advertisement elsewhere in this issue the N.Z. Co-op. Pig Marketing Association Ltd invites dairy farmers to consign their pigs through this pro-, gressive farmers’ organisation. The association is 100 per cent co-operative and is producer-owned and controlled. The association has issued, a schedule of advance payments which compares very favourably with those of competitors. The Association's local market outlets for porkers and baconers assures suppliers of the highest possible payout. The association kills at 19 different works throughout New Zealand, and handles approximately 25 per cent of all pigs killed for export. Full particulars will be supplied on request by the Wairarapa District Representative or any member of the district committees.
