ACCEPTANCE OF FEDERAL APPOINTMENT. DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC CG-ORDINATION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 12.50 p.m.) CANBERRA. This Day. Sir Ernest Fisk, managing director of Amalgamated Wireless, has been appointed secretary to the Economi* Cabinet and Director of Economic CoOrdination. Announcing this the Federal Premier (Mr R. G. Menzies) said the services of Mr Fisk had been lent to the Commonwealth for twelve months.
