A Heinkel bomber was sighted over Sutherland, flying low. It disappeared northwards. Three planes believed to be enemy machines, were sighted over the Orkneys. Air raid warnings were sounded. PROTECTED AREAS. EXCLUSION OF UNAUTHORISED PERSONS. (Received This Day, 12.25 p.m.) LONDON. November 21. The Secretary for War has created the counties of Orkney and Zetland protected areas from December 1, precluding unauthorised persons remaining there without a permit.
