Swinbourne, commenting on the demand by the Eighteen Foolers Sailing League lor the world championship cup. which lie won in 1938. said: "The title series hold in New Zealand, was unconstitutional. Taree is still the world's champion. I won't give up the trophy until it is properly won." The league wants to send the cup to New Zealand for presentation to Mr G. Chamberlain, whoso boat Mann was declared champion lust season by the Australian Board of Control. Mr Swinbourne claims that the quashing of his appeal against disqualification in the 1939 title series, held in New Zealand, was unconstitutional.
