SULTAN OF OMAN
EXCHANGE OF GOOD WISHES WITH BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.48 a.m.) RUGBY. November 19. When the British Consul paid an official call on the Sultan of Muscat and Oman, his Highness expressed the considered hope that his Majesty's forces would be victorious and that peace would soon be restored. His Highness had been informed that his Majesty's Government and the Government of India thank him for the sentiments expressed, and are confident that, with God’s help, his hope will be fulfilled.
