ON THE WEST FRONT
HEAVY RAIN REDUCES ACTIVITY. GERMAN DETACHMENTS REPELLED. LONDON. November 18. The Paris correspondent, of “The Times" slates that heavy rain has reduced military activity on the Western Front to a minimum, though German patrols have been slightly more active. The French artillery dispersed small German detachments east of the Moselle and sent German troops constructing strong points between the Saar and the Blies Rivers scuttling to shelter.
