INTER=HOUSE SPORTS
MASTERTON GATHERING. ORrfER OF PROCESSION. The prizes this year’ in connection with the Inter-House Sports at the Masterton Park on Saturday. November 25, show a substantial increase. The events include a tug-of-war, men’s sack race and men’s relay race for which entries are still being received. There will be a display of cups and other trophies in a window of Messrs Hugo and Shearer’s premises on Friday. In the evening a dance will be held, the arrangements for which are well in hand. The following is the order in which the various house teams will parade: Cody & Co., Hugo & Shearer, Garages, Stock & Station Agents, Leecroft. McKenzie's, Hosiery Mills, W.F.C.A.. Woolworths, State Theatre. The arrangements made for the gathering by a very capable commit-1 tee are such that it is anticipated that the gathering will be one of the most successful of its kind ever staged in the Wairarapa. No effort is being spared to provide the public with a class of entertainment which they will appreciate and which will emphasise the fact that Masterton is capable of producing an inter-house display and sports gathering equal to those of the bigger centres.
