MINIATURE RIFLES PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The tenth annual dance of the Martinborough Miniature Rifle Club was .well attended, and was a most enjoyable gathering. Euchre as well as dancing was indulged in. The euchre prize winners were Mrs Benton and Mr Duffy, with Mrs Wilson second. The iced cake was won by Mr W. 0. Marflitt. During the evening the Mayor (Mr C. W. Skill) called on the Mayoress tc. present the trophies won during last season, as under: —Senior championship—D. Flynn; runner-up —S. Harvey. Davidson Challenge Cup and miniature cup—S. Harvey. Skilton and Little Cup and miniature —Mrs Wilson. Ken Wright Memorial Cup—Mrs Davidson. Ladies’ Championship (Mr Hardie’s trophy)—Mrs Davidson. B Grade Championship—Miss S. Broughton. Weekly Button Trophy—Miss B. Howat. Mr- Amos's Consolation TrophyMiss Prussing. Novelty Shoot Trophy —R. Amos. Junior Championship—M. Marflitt), Senior Monthly Trophies— Miss M. Davidson (2). R. Amos. F. Brasell. Miss Broughton, C. Chapman (consolation). Junior Monthly Trophies—M. Marflitt (2). C. Skill. (2), J. Turner. TENNIS CLUB TEA HOSTESSES. The afternoon tea hostesses for the Martinborough Tennis Club on Saturday will be Mesdames W. B. Martin. A. Tyler and L. Chapman. A Yankee tournament is to be held on Saturday. Players are to be at the Courts at 1.45 p.m.
