TRAWLER LOST
STRIKES ROCK AND SINKS OFF WHALE ISLAND.
CREW REPORTED TO BE SAFE.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. November 13. The fishing trawler Waiwera, owned by’ Waitemata Fisheries, Ltd., Auckland, is reported to have struck a rock and sunk oil' Whale Island, seven miles from Whakatane, Bay of Plenty. The crew of four is reported to be safe.
