Mrs Jackson, Picton. is visiting her father, Mr F. W. Burt. Mr Barney O’Neale, youngest son of Mr and Mrs F. A. O’Neale, has joined the staff of Messrs Pickering and Co, Masterton. The funeral of the late Mrs F. W. Burt took place at the Featherston cemetery yesterday and was very largely attended. The service at the house was conducted by the Rev H. White, and at the graveside by the Rev J. Harkness. A large number of wreaths were received, among them being tokens from the League of Mothers, South Featherston Home and School Association, Methodist Church, and from the scholars of the South Featherston School.
