CROQUET MATCH CONTEST AT LANSDOWNE. (“Times-Age” Special.) In a croquet match played on the Lansdowne croquet lawns between Mauriceville and Lansdowne, the former won by four games to two. Detailed results are (Mauriceville players mentioned first in every case):— Singles: Mrs Freeman beat Mrs Shearer 26/18; Mrs McKeowen beat Mrs Dagg 26/17; Mrs Trass beat Mrs Donovan 26/7; Mrs Scherf lost to Mrs Grigg 24/26. Doubles: Mesdames Scherf and Trass beat Mesdames Grigg and Donovan 26/9; Mesdames Freeman and McKeowen lost to Mesdames Shearer and Dagg 21/26. The Mauriceville ladies thanked the hostesses for their hospitality.

Personal. Mis Carman, of Tinui, is visiting her sister, Mrs Freeman, Mauriceville.
