TENNIS SEASON

PARK CLUB OPENS COURTS. There was a large attendance of members and visitors at the Park Tennis Club’s courts on Saturday, when the season was officially opened. Ihc president. Mr L. S. Nicol, opened the courts for play. The courts were stated to be in the best condition for years and were comparable to any in the Wairarapa. A vote of thanks was passed to the Masterton Borough Council for its work on the courts. Afternoon tea was served by a ladies’ committee.
