OBITUARY
MRS M. P. HOLDITCH. The death occurred this morning at the extreme old age of 95. of Mrs Mary Pukinhorne Holditch. The late Mrs Holditch arrived in Masterton from Breage, Cornwall, landing in Wellington by the Kaikoura in order to join the Ralph family, 56 years ago. She was married in 1903 to Mr Richard Holditch, her husband pre-deceasing her 13 years ago. Her maiden name was Austing. Of a quiet, likeable disposition she endeared herself to a large number of friends and relatives who will greatly miss her cheery ways. During her 56 years in Masterton she was interested in every good work and took great delight in her work in the Methodist Church, being for many years an honoured member of the Ladies’ Guild. The funeral will leave the Chapel of Hyde's funeral service. Church Street, tomorrow, at 2 p.m. for the Masterton cemetery.
