VERDICT OF ACCIDENT
FARMER'S DEATH AT LEVEL CROSSING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N.. This Day. •At an inquest on George Glasgow Jamieson, a farmer, aged 33. who was killed at the West Street level crossing in a collision with a train on Labour Day. evidence was given that deceased had twice been refused a driving license owing to his incompetence in driving. He was driving into the setting sun when the fatality occurred. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
