MARTINBOROUGH
COLLIE CLUB ANNUAL MEETING. (“Times-Age”. Special.) The annual meeting of the Collie Club was held on Saturday night. Mr Ivan McLeod presided over a fair attendance. The financial statement showed a deficit of £1 4s 3d on the year’s working. The meeting decided to recommend to the Programme Committee to incorporate a class for novices in the 1940 trials. Donations totalling £2 were provided as prize money for this class. The meeting further resolved that no official programme be printed for the 1940 trials.
The following officers were elected: — Patron, Mr Murdoch. McLeod; president, Mr J. A. McDougall; vice-presi-dents, Messrs John McLeod, lan McLeod, Robert McLeod, J. Martin, R. A. Nicol and F. Wall; executive committee, Messrs Murdoch McLeod, lan Nicol, Quentin Donald, R. W. McLaren, A. R. McLeod, J. Baghurst; hon. treascurer. Mr R. W. McLaren. Mr Ivan McLeod was appointed chairman of the General Committee.
