REMAND GRANTED
MAN ARRESTED IN MASTERTON LAST NIGHT.
Charged with breaking and entering, with intent to commit a crime, the premises of George F. Harrison, shopkeeper, 172 Featherston Street, Wellington, on October 26, Albert Charles Brown, a labourer, aged 36. of Masterton, appeared before a special sitting of the Masterton Magistrate’s Court, held in the Police Station this morning. Messrs L. J. Taylor and W. H. Saunders, J.’sP., presided. On the application of Senior-Ser-geant G. A. Doggett the accused was remanded to appear at the Wellington Magistrate's Court at 10 a.m. on November 1. The accused was arrested in Masterton last night by Detective-Sergeant W. Kane, and Constables R. Hollis and C. Reardon.
