MILK IN SCHOOLS
SUPPLY STARTS ON MONDAY. EARLY MORNING DELIVERY. The supply of milk to schools in Masterton and other schools in the Wairarapa will commence on Monday, delivery and other arrangements by the contractors having been completed. Each child will receive daily half a pint of milk in a sealed bottle, together with a straw. It is expected that the milk will be distributed to Masterton schools as early as 8 a.m. and at Featherston by 10.30 a.m.. so that every school will have supplies in time for the’morning play period. Lansdowne, Masterton, West side and Central side (East) schools are included in the scheme.
