REBUILDING FUND

MAORI MEETING HOUSE. SUCCESSFUL SHOP DAY. The organisers. Mesdames L. Pike and Rex Te Tau, report a very satisfactory shop day yesterday in aid of the funds for building a new Maori Meeting House'at Te Ore Ore. Despite large stocks of fruit, cakes, produce, etc., the stall was “sold out” comparatively early in the afternoon. The organisers wish to thank all those people who kindly gave goods for sale and wish to thank the public for the generous support given this effort. A number of cash donations were also received and thanks are similarly expressed to those donors. It is probable that another shop day for the same cause will be held in December.
