SILVER WEDDING ENJOYABLE CELEBRATION. ("Times-Age” Special.) On October 21, 1914, the wedding took place at St David’s Church, Upper Hutt, of Miss Agnes May Boyd and Mr Alec MacGregor. On Saturday evening last about 30 friends and relations gathered at the residence of Mr and Mrs MacGregor to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their wedding. There were several guests present who had attended the wedding. The evening was spent in competitions, games, community singing, etc. After a tasty supper had been served, the cake, which had been made by Mrs MacGregor and iced by a friend, was cut, and the health of the bride and bridegroom drunk after which they were accorded musical honours. A very enjoyable evening concluded with the singing of Auld Lang Syne. Mr and Mrs MacGregor were the recipients of many handsome gifts and also a number of telegrams. Mrs MacGregor received several posies. Personal Items. Miss Joan Watchman, of Wellington, was the guest of Mrs R. J. Wright for the weekend. Mrs Gorst, of Napier, is the guest of Mrs R. J. Wright for several weeks. Miss Thelma Wright, of Wellington, spent the weekend with Miss Percy, Master ton. Mr W. Holland visited his parents for the weekend. Mr and Mrs H. Harding spent the weekend in Wanganui. Mrs J. Lamb, of Wadestown, is staying with her mother-in-law, Mrs J. Lamb. Daniel Street.,
