WEDDING

4 WINDELBORN—McKENZIE. In glorious sunshine the wedding took place at the Epiphany Church Masterton, on Monday afternoon, of Myra Jean, youngest daughter of Mr Malcolm McKenzie and the late Mrs Sarah McKenzie, and Geoffrey Louis Windelborn, of Hamilton. The Rev E. M. McLevie, of Wellington performed the ceremony. The bride entered the church with her father and made a dainty picture in a simple gown of pale pink made with shirred waist line, puff sleeves and heart-shaped neck- line. The deli cate pink embroidered veil fell from a coronet of tinted orange blossom and a fragrant bouquet of tulips, carnations and roses, completed the picture. Miss Marjory Loader, the bride’s niece, was the bridesmaid and she wore a blue gown cut on the same lines as the bride’s. On her head was a halo of pink and blue flowers on vandyked velvet. She carried a pink bouquet. Mr Ray Windelborn, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. At the reception in the Epiphany > Hall Mr Malcolm McKenzie and the bride’s aunt, Mrs Wilson, who wore a violet ensemble, received the guests, i They included mainly close relations ■ of the bride and bridegroom: Mrs Bar- . ton, Mrs Loader and Mrs Nichols, sis ■ ters of the bride, and Mrs Napier and • Miss Windelborn, sisters of the bride- ! groom were present. For travelling the bride chose a ; smart grey tailored costume worn with .■ a gaily patterned waistcoat in shades . of mauve, a slouch hat, and navy aci cessories.

Of especial heartiness were the sin cere good wishes showered on the bride and bridegroom as they left later for their future' home in Hamilton.
