WIN FOR LABOUR DEPARTMENT. A most enjoyable evening was spent in the P. and T. Social Room, when teams representing the local Post and Telegraph and Labour Departments met in a friendly table tennis match. The teams were: —P. and T.: Miss M. Greenlees, Messrs E. Donnelly, W. Wickens. E. Mannell, A. McHattie and K. Woollett. Labour: Miss M. Scanlon. Messrs E. Sherrock, M. Wing. P. Greenlees, I. O'Connor and .1. McGrath. Labour Department proved victorious by 21 games to 9. At the conclusion of the games a delightful supper was served by the winning team. The Winter Sports Club has been again successful in winning the Wairarapa “A” grade championship, defeating Mauriceville East decisively in | the final. I
