Robb presided over a fair attendance of members. The annual report stated that the past year had been a bad one for tennis 1 and players had not been keen. There had been a lack of interest throughout 1 the Wairarapa. 1 The balance sheet showed a credit ? of £l6 10s. The following officers were elected:— Patron, Mr E. Three new members were elected. — ’ Centennial Celebrations. Mr R. G. Vile was appointed organ- ’ iser for the Greytown Centennial celebrations by the Greytown Borough . Council. Personal Items. 1 Miss D. Haigh has returned to Grcytown after several months spent a: Auckland. Mr J. Smith, of the telephone exchange staff, has received notice of ' his transfer to Eketahuna.
