MASTERTON STOCK SALE. A good yarding of sheep met with a keen demand at the Masterton stock sale today. Prices remained on a par with ruling market rates, the earlier rising tendency appearing to have reached stabilisation. Butchers representatives were operating freely. Quotations are: — Sheep: Fat b.f. hoggets, 22s lOd to 23s 4d; do 2-ths, 24s lOd; fat ewes, 23s 3d to 23s 9d; do in wool. 235; fat shorn hoggets, 17s. Pigs: Weaners, 24s to 26s (good).
