WRESTLING TOURNEY FOR BENEFIT OF RED CROSS. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Featherston Wrestling Club held a most successful tournament in the Town Hall in aid. of the Featherston Red Cross Society. The referee was Mr E. Perry, the time-keeper, Mr H. McNamara, and the announcer, Mr A. McLeod. The following were the results of the contests: — T. Duffy, lOst. (Masterton) beat A. Reed (Featherston) by one fall. A. Simmonds, 10.5 (Featherston) drew with R. Edwards (Masterton).

J. Jackson, lOst. (Masterton) drew with Wickens, 9.8 (Masterton).

N. Leighton, 7.9 (Featherston) beat Frankenburg, 7.7 (Masterton) by two falls.

O. Mellish, 6st. (Featherston) drew with W. Ruane, 6st. (Featherston). Hobo Chasland, 4.6 (Featherston) drew with Tiger Davidson, 4.6 (Featherston) .

R. Reed, 10.7 (Featherston) beat Leigh, 10.7 (Masterton) by one fall. M. Leighton (Featherston) drew with C. Neill (Featherston), blindfold bout.

T. Reed, 12.5 (Featherston) drew with H. Piper, 12.5 (Featherston). D. Jensen, 9.5 (Featherston) beat Wickcns, 9.5 (Masterton) by one fall. Jackson (Masterton) beat Wilkinson (Masterton) on points. A. McLeod, 9st. (Featherston) beat C. Neill, 9st. (Featherston) by one fall. T. Matthews, 9st. (Featherston) beat R. A. Wilton,' Ost. (Featherston) by one fall. SCHOOL ASSOCIATION MONTHLY MEETING. At the monthly meeting of the. Featherston Home and School Association there were present: Miss Card (president), Mesdames J. G. McKenzie, J. Buck, E. Saunders, G. Harkness, H. Lawson and C. Rea (secretary), Messrs K. Allen, N. C. C. Shepherd, Lowell, A. S. Kilsby, J. Henderson and F. S. Hayes. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs Carlyon and Messrs Willett and Cole. Mr J. Henderson submitted a report on a small picture projector, and it was decided to obtain a demonstration at an early date. Mr Henderson was accorded a vote of thanks for his proposal. It was decided to purchase some cricket material required by the school. Personal. Mrs Charles Matthews, “Oporua,” and Mrs G. S. Sharp left yesterday to spend a week at Otaki.
