DAY OF PRAYER

TO BE OBSERVED IN MASTERTON.

The public of Masterton are invited by the Masterton Ministers’ Association to attend a special service of in-, tercession to be held on the Masterton Park Oval at 3 o'clock on Sunday. October 1. The gathering, which will be under the auspices of the Masterton Ministers’ Association, is in keeping with the observance of the National Day of Prayer requested by the King. The Rt Rev F. A. Bennett, Bishop of Ao-Tea-Roa, will give an address. If the weather conditions are unfavourable the service will be held in St Matthew’s Church.

Special intercession services will be conducted in all churches in the Wairarapa throughout the day.
