CHURCH SERVICES

The newly established Masterton. Baptist Fellowship which will meet in the Y.M.C.A. Hall tomorrow at 11 a.m. is to be addressed by Mr H. A. Harris of Wellington. Mr Harris has been for a number of years prominent in the youth work of the Baptist denomination in New Zealand and has held the position of president of the N.Z. Baptist Men’s Bible Class Union. A cordial invitation is extended to all to attend the service. Children not attending any other Sunday School will be made welcome at the Sunday—, School service held at 10 a.m. Special services marking the 75th Patronal Festival will be held at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow. The preacher at 7 o’clock in the evening will be the Venerable Archdeacon Bullock, Vicar-General of the Diocese. The usual services will be held at Kuripuni, Upper Plain and the Public Hospital. Two special themes will be dealt with at the Methodist Church tomor-, row. The morning service, conducted by the Rev. Frederick J. Parker, will take the form of a “Spring Service," the young people bringing flowers which wil be dedicated and sent out to the aged and sick. At the evening service “College Day" is being celebrated, when the Trinity Theological College will be the special theme of thought and prayer. A one-time student of the College, the Rev. Howard E. Harkness, M.A., will be the special preacher. At the close of the service a social hour will be spent in the schoolroom. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow morning the services will be conducted by Mr F. G. Rutter. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. In the morning service the Major will take for his subject. "Undivided Loyalty.” and in the evening service. “Have We Lost Our Way?" All are heartily invited to the services.
