EKETAHUNA

MINIATURE RIFLES NORTH v. SOUTH MATCH. (“Times-Age” Special.) The annual shoot of 20-a-side between teams representing the northern and southern clubs in the Bush Miniature Rifle Association, which marks the end of the Byrne shield competition, and at which various trophies won in that competition are presented, took place on the Mangamutu Club’s range in the Drill Hall, Pahiatua, on Saturday evening. The match had previously been postponed on account of the petrol restrictions, but when they were relaxed a little a special effort in view of the fact that next 'season might find members in different circumstances, was made.
