QUEEN CARNIVAL POSITION OF CANDIDATES. ("Times-Age” Special.) The following is the positions of the candidates in the Queen Carnival: — Green Queen 3191 votes. Gold Queen 2000 votes. GOLF CLUB COMPETITION RESULTS. The best cards handed in after a fourball bogey competition on Saturday were: — Men: M. Francis and L. Speedy, 3 up; J. Coutts and K. Arthur, 3 up; F. Rankine and H. Harvey, 1 up. Ladies: Mrs Parsons, 96, 19, 77; Miss Harvey, 93, 12, 81; Miss Jury, 105, 23, 82. The first round of the junior championship resulted: —Mrs McLeod beat Miss Blundell; Mrs Parsons beat Mrs Knell; Mrs Marflitt beat Miss Kershaw; Mrs Griffiths beat Mrs Baker; Mrs Knutson beat Miss K. Martin; Mrs McConnell beat Miss Mahood; Miss Jury beat Mrs Caseley; Miss Stewart beat Mrs Moore.
