EMERGENCY COMMITTEE

SET UP BY MASTERTON . COUNTY COUNCIL. The Masterton County Council at its meeting yesterday, decided to appoint an emergency committee, following on receipt of advice from the Government. The following resolution was passed: “That this council offers its full co-op-eration with the Government in any steps that may be taken arising from the recent declaration of war with Germany and the chairman.. Mr R. E. Gordon Lee and that Councillors G, Moore and W. I. Armstrong be appointed an emergency committee to deal with any matters of urgency that may arise?’
