DONATIONS BY ROYALTIES.

The King has given £5OOO, and the Queen £2OOO to the Mansion House fund opened in response to the Duke of Gloucester’s appeal for the Red Cross and St John Emergency Commitee. v Other Royal donations are:—Queen Mary, £1800; the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, £1000; The Duke and Duchess of Kent, £750; The Earl and Countess of Harewood, £500; the Duke of Connaught, £5OO.
