FINANCIAL AND OTHER PROPOSALS.

(By Telegraph—PresS Association.) WELLINGTON. This Day.

The financial proposals which will be introduced by the Government shortly are expected to prolong the present session beyond the end of this week. In addition, to financial arrangements, the Government also proposes lo bring in a number of minor Bills dealing with the war situation. Consideration of these measures occupied a Government Parly caucus this morning. The Acting-Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, intends to make an announcement this afternoon regarding the remainder of the programme for the session.
