There is little fighting in the city. Three out of four German tanks reconnoitring on the outskirts of the city have been captured by Polish forces. A German attack in the suburbs was repulsed and a tank captured. The value of the of the tank, it is declared, amounts to nothing in street fighting. Tanks cannot be driven through the narrow streets nor withstand fire from the houses above. Warsaw is now famous throughout the world for its gallant defence.
