MOTOR-CARS COLLIDE
ACCIDENT IN QUEEN STREET. TWO MEN SLIGHTLY INJURED. A collision occurred between two cars at about 8.30 o'clock last night at the intersection of Crayne Street and Queen Street, at the Catholic Church corner. As a result of the accident two occupants of one of the cars, Messrs Jack Tozer, of Masterton, and Edgar John Ireland, of Carterton, suffered slight injuries. They were attended to by Dr Graham Cowie. It appears that one car, driven by Mrs J. Robertson, was proceeding out of Crayne Street and the other car. driven by Mr Edward Allan Tozer, of Waingawa, was travelling northward along Queen Street when the collision occurred. Mrs Robertson was accompanied by her daughter, Heather, who was thrown out of the car and suffered bruises. Mrs Robertson suffered somewhat from shock. Mr Tozer's car was fairly extensively damaged, two doors being stove in and the front axle broken. The front portion of Mrs Robertson’s car suffered some damage.
