CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE

MAN FATALLY INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, August 21. Fatal injuries were received by a cyclist when he was involved in a collision with a motor-car in Symonds Street. The victim was Leonard Thomas Kyne Scahill, aged 27, married, of Newton.

Mr Scahill was coming out of Whittaker Place, apparently with the intention of going down Symonds Street toward the city. The car was being driven down Symonds Street by Mr Kenneth Keith.

The victim received a fractured base of the skull. He was taken to Auckland Hospital, where he died.
