SALVATION ARMY
ELECTION OF NEW GENERAL EXTENDED DELIBERATIONS. HIGH COUNCIL STATEMENT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. August 16. The deliberations of the High Council ol' the Salvation Army continued today and an official statement explains that it has been found necessary, "in view of the importance of the issue"—the election of a new general for the Army and constitutional questions connected therewith —"carefully io explore the many points which have a claim on the council’s consideration." The statements adds: "One of the most outstanding features of the whole proceedings is the oneness nf purpose and readiness to view matters from every angle by all members, coming as they do from all parts of the world."
